About Zakhid Express

Zakhid Express handles the long western routes, including every service that crosses a border. All of its international services involve at least one change of vehicle, and the connection is protected if the first leg runs late.

Full coaches with reclining seats and a toilet, used on all overnight runs.

Wi-Fi on board
Mobile internet shared from the vehicle. Coverage drops out for long stretches of these routes.

Available throughout the journey. Minibuses do not have one.

Climate control across the cabin.
Reclining seats
Seats recline, which matters on the overnight services.

Selected rows have more legroom and can be booked for a small fee.
Water and hot drinks
Drinking water is provided free. Hot drinks are available at stops.
Wheelchair access
A lift-equipped vehicle with a wheelchair space. Request it at least 72 hours before departure.
Child seats
Booster and child seats carried on request, at no charge. Ask when booking.
Escort on board
A carrier representative travels with the vehicle and deals with checks and paperwork.

Changing a booking

Free changes up to 7 days before departure. Between 7 days and 48 hours a change costs €12. No changes inside 48 hours on international services.

Refunds

Full refund more than 14 days before departure. 60% between 14 and 5 days, 30% between 5 days and 72 hours. No refund inside 72 hours.

Two days, one change, no problems
Long is an understatement — nearly forty hours door to door. The change was handled properly and they held the second coach when we ran late. I would not do it again unless I had to, but it did exactly what it promised.
