What to know about this route

  • The published journey time includes the wait at the control point leaving Sievierodonetsk. That wait is the least predictable part of the trip and can add two hours or more.
  • Bring the original of every document for every passenger, including children. Copies and photographs of documents are not accepted.
  • This route crosses an EU external border. A valid passport is required and a national ID card is not sufficient.
  • You will leave the vehicle at the border for checks and reboard afterwards. Keep your documents on you, not in the hold.
  • You change vehicles once on this route. Stay with your luggage — it is not transferred for you.
  • Carriers can move a departure at short notice if the road situation changes. Keep the phone number you booked with reachable.

Two days, one change, no problems

Long is an understatement — nearly forty hours door to door. The change was handled properly and they held the second coach when we ran late. I would not do it again unless I had to, but it did exactly what it promised.
